Get an email but want to make it an event or a task?
Select More at the top of your screen and click add to Tasks or Create Event.
If you create a task you might want to make it due on a certain date, and then have that task show up on your Google Calendar. Set the date in your task bar by selecting the task and clicking the arrow pointing right, then set the date. You will want to make sure your tasks are shown in your Google Calendar. You may have it set to show reminders. Select your Reminders calendar and select Switch to Tasks to show your tasks in your Google Calendar.
